The Brief
Lola Brasserie was conceived as a one of a kind brasserie in Jeddah, inspired by the effortless elegance of Côte d’Azur coastal residences. We were asked to create a space that felt warm, refined and residential, centred around food. The brief focused on unique culinary counters for crudo, mixology and an open kitchen, complemented by varied, custom seating typologies that prioritise interaction and experience.
laissez-faire lifestyle
Lola blends Riviera warmth with Parisian polish, creating a modern French brasserie rooted in style, comfort, and understated elegance.

about
Lola Brasserie is a French Riviera inspired dining destination that blends refined elegance with modern French cuisine in the heart of Jeddah. The concept reimagines the classic Parisian brasserie through a contemporary lens, offering a warm, sophisticated setting grounded in Mediterranean aesthetics.
Lola’s story anchors the space. Raised along the sun soaked coast of the South of France and later immersed in the style and artistry of Paris, she embodies a balance of coastal charm and urban chic. This narrative informs both the design and atmosphere of the restaurant.
The interior evokes a coastal residence, with natural materials and soft textures creating a sense of ease and understated luxury. Floor to ceiling windows invite generous daylight, while mosaic stone floors, marble finishes, rattan details and plush velvet seating form a layered, tactile palette. Earthy tones and vintage style mirrors add depth and warmth.
The layout flows across distinct zones, supporting a range of dining experiences. Lounge seating, intimate tables and open culinary counters encourage interaction with both food and service, while maintaining a unified visual language.
The menu reflects this same spirit, rooted in French tradition but reinterpreted with fresh, modern flavour profiles. Signature dishes such as grapefruit marinated prawns, steak au poivre and tarte tatin balance familiarity with creative nuance.
Lola Brasserie is designed as a complete guest experience, where thoughtful interiors and elevated cuisine come together in a space that is transportive yet locally grounded.

The Challenge
The original space presented notable challenges, including very low ceilings and a dark, segmented layout. Our approach was to replan the space into three interconnected zones, each offering distinct experiences anchored by food and service.
Creating a luxurious yet light and residential atmosphere involved subtle detailing, natural textures, layered lighting and soft sheers, establishing a calm day to night transition throughout the guest journey.

The Dressing
The artwork and accessories at Lola Brasserie are inspired by the duality of Lola’s world, a life shaped by the sun soaked charm of the French Riviera and the refined elegance of Paris.
Each piece was carefully curated and commissioned under the direction of Forsite Creative, who guided the artistic process to reflect Lola’s story. From Cézanne inspired hues and artisanal ceramics to bold modern works echoing Cubism, Fauvism and Parisian graffiti, every detail contributes to a layered narrative of effortless grace and cultured sophistication.

The Detail
The design thoughtfully integrates discreet functional details to elevate the guest experience. Subwoofers are concealed within custom joinery, while scent diffusers are seamlessly hidden in the millwork to maintain visual harmony.
Kitchen equipment visible to guests was fully customised to align with the interior palette. Branding elements and visual identity are subtly woven throughout, complemented by curated accent lighting that highlights the artwork.

The result
The final design offers a layered and immersive coastal dining experience. Guests move through a progression of spaces, from lounge style seating to chef’s counters and intimate dining zones, each intentionally crafted around key F&B moments.
Luxurious in a quiet, residential way, the materials and detailing celebrate Mediterranean ease, while the integration of culinary theatre, warm finishes and personal touches set Lola Brasserie apart
